Bryant Family Farm is a ten acre farmstead set apart from the whirlwind of daily life, yet in the heart of Northwest Arkansas. Located in Springdale, AR, Barry and Stephanie Bryant founded Bryant Family Farm in the fall of 2015 with their young daughter, Gabrielle.
The original property had a house built in the 1960’s that was in dire need. The Bryants worked with the City of Springdale to burn the existing home down and in its place built a modern farmhouse. With an initial vision of developing a hobby farm for themselves and their family and friends, the Bryants now see a greater vision that God is creating with this unique property.
Bryant Family Farm isn’t just about homegrown goodness, but experiencing the simpler, gentler paced life with the ones you love, even if it’s only for an afternoon or through a blog post.
The Bryants are excited to continue on their Jesus led adventure with this new, and at times overwhelming, endeavor.
The Bryants hope to host family style Sunday Dinners, share their Tiny Red Barn Guesthouse & many other events centered around delicious food, fresh air and fellowship. But the vision is still unfolding, so journey along with the Bryants as they document their experience of learning how to do life on the farm. And stay tuned for ways you can be involved in what God is doing at the Bryant Family Farm.
More from the hearts of the Bryants about ‘WHY the farm?’
Bryant Family Farm is a culmination of six years of praying, wondering and searching — for time together as a family and the right spot to bring God’s vision to life.
I want a breath of fresh air for my soul and my family. I want to be together and not torn apart by schedules and jobs and travel. I want to go back to the Garden and walk with the Lord in His creation and watch what He grows as He grows us.
I want quilts on the beds and fresh flowers on the table. I want to sip sweet tea on our front porch and play with our daughter, Gabrielle, in the yard. I want to set a beautiful table and invite you to join me for Sunday dinner that only could come from our farm and local community.
I want to make it easy for you to come to Bryant Family Farm to visit this special place God is developing. I want to be a part of the community and grow more than just food.
I want a big beautiful barn to host a dance under twinkle lights. I want you to have your wedding or special event there.
I want to sit around the fire pit with you and roast marshmallows. I want to sit on hay bales with you and watch a movie projected on a big white sheet. I want to not miss TV.
I want a farm that is a little slice of the real heaven to come.
I want this special place to be about more than just the food, but about fellowship.
I want to hop on the tractor with my Renaissance Man and ride along surveying all his hard work. I want to wear cute boots and gingham shirts. Who says you can’t work hard and look cute?
I want to give back to our neighbors in need. I want to invest in the land and make it better.
I want to help other creativeprenuers get on track with their Jesus led adventures. You don’t have to have a farm to be living your God-sized dream.
I want to bake yummy recipes that we can share. I want my family to be healthy and to set an example for others.
I want to have an amazing story to share that only could be accomplished with the power of the Holy Spirit.
I want you to relax at our table and enjoy a home cooked meal under the stars. Then, hand you a mason jar, have you kick off your shoes and catch fireflies.
I want you to laugh & enjoy simple pleasures with your family, again.
Where did this passion come from?
Growing up in the suburbs of Tulsa, OK, graduating from Baylor University, I thought I was destined for a corporate Marketing job in a major city overseas, with family life in the very distant future.
Barry was an Arkansan who knew the joys of gardening, canning, training dogs and hunting in the country, with a job in sales.
We met at church in 2002. With opposite hobbies and interests, God brought two passionate, natural born leaders together. We would marry, travel, work long hours at corporate jobs, mentor youth and try to have a family.
After seven years of praying to have a child, our miracle, Gabrielle, came into our lives. The greatest blessing we’ve ever received. She’s a thriving and joy-filled two year old, enjoying every moment of our farmhouse adventures. I believe Bryant Family Farm is as much for her as it is anyone.
How did I end up wanting to have a farm? God turned me inside out and made me pray the desires of my heart that only He could have planted. The desire to have a farm came from Him. I couldn’t have made this up. It’s not me giving in to a desire of my husband’s. It’s truly the Lord working in both of our hearts, grafting our roots together to become one. He’s asked us to break the ground, build the home, reclaim the land and create an experience for us and you.
I’m called to share with you our experiences as we go on this Jesus led adventure into our promised land. Who knows what this journey will hold for our little family but I know it’s going to be exhilarating, difficult, fun and will stretch us. I’m sure I’ll pray more than I ever have before. And I know we will be better for the obedient experience and following hard after God.
Welcome to the Bryant Family Farm. Follow along as I share what God is doing in our every day. Feel at home.
I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Christy Martin Photography for such wonderful moments captured of our family the week we moved into our farmhouse and for her caring spirit and generosity. I HIGHLY recommend her to all of my Northwest Arkansas friends.
